State Visit from Canada

On 20–23 February 2017, Governor General of Canada His Excellency David Johnston, accompanied by Her Excellency Sharon Johnston, will pay a State Visit to Sweden at the invitation of His Majesty the King.
The four-day visit will encompass Stockholm, Malmö, Lund and Gothenburg.
Further information about the programme and participants will be published nearer the visit.

Media representatives need special accreditation from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs to cover the State Visit. The deadline for applications for accreditation is Wednesday 15 February.
