New Ambassador to India

The Government today appointed Klas Molin Ambassador in New Delhi.
Mr Molin currently holds the post Chief of Protocol at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He has previously served as head of the Department for Asia and the Pacific Region, and has been Ambassador in Bangkok. He has also served at the Embassies in Washington and Bangkok, and the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the UN in New York.
Mr Molin will take up his new post in September 2017.
