Swedish citizens sometimes require a visa to visit another country.
Contact the country's embassy/consulate in Stockholm, if there is one, otherwise in another city in Europe, or your travel agency for information on the country's visa regulations in good time before travelling abroad.

Visas for visiting Sweden
Foreign citizens sometimes require a visa to enter Sweden. Applications for visas to Sweden are made at the nearest Swedish embassy. In some cities where there is no Swedish embassy, Sweden is represented by another Schengen embassy. More information is available via the link on the right headed 'Information on visas'. There you will also find a list of countries or territories whose citizens require a visa to enter Sweden. The Ministry of Justice is responsible for visa matters.
