  • The Ministry for Foreign Affairs was responsible for media accreditation for the official events in connection with the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Mr Daniel Westling.

  • On 17-18 June at the Press Centre at Rosenbad there were a number of press briefings in English on the monarchy, royalists, various aspects of the Crown Princess's wedding and royal weddings past and present.   • Allocation of places in media positions and photo pools published

    Position/pool passes together with media accreditation were required for access to restricted media positions and photo pools. The application period for both accreditation and places in media positions and photo pools expired on 31 May.   • Practical information

    The MFA will set up a media centre that will be open for a few days around the day of the wedding, organise briefings and provide practical information concerning the official programme. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is organising photo opportunities and photo pools for events during the week of the wedding, in collaboration with the Royal Court, the Prime Minister's Office, the Riksdag (Swedish Parliament) and the City of Stockholm.
