State Visit from Turkey on 11-13 March 2013

Turkey´s President Abdullah Gül will be making a State Visit to Sweden on 11-13 March 2013 at the invitation of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf. The President´s wife, Hayrünnisa Gül, will also take part in the visit.
This will be the first State Visit to Sweden by a Turkish Head of State. Their Majesties The King and Queen made a State Visit to Turkey in 2006, which was the first Swedish State Visit to the country.
The visit will take place in Stockholm and Uppsala.
Media representatives need special accreditation from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs to cover the visit. The accreditation is closed (4 March).
