Statement regarding the DPRK's latest missile test

Sweden strongly and unequivocally condemns the DPRK's latest missile test. It aggravates an already tense situation in the region.
The DPRK's nuclear and missile programme poses a threat to international peace and security and breaches UN Security Council resolutions.
It is paramount that the DPRK immediately fulfils its international obligations and takes steps towards a complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantling of its nuclear and missile programme. Sweden calls on the DPRK to engage in a credible and meaningful dialogue with the international community.
