A/O Dom Shvetsii

A/O Dom Shvetsii, (‘Sweden House’) is a Russian limited company that manages what is known as a ‘Sweden House’ in Saint Petersburg, which holds official, cultural and commercial events.

The Riksdag decided in the autumn of 1994 to establish a Sweden House in central Saint Petersburg as a step in the development of relations between Sweden and Russia.

Dom Shvetsii is a Russian limited company owned by Ladoga Holding AB (a subsidiary to CA Fastigheter), which holds 49 per cent, the Swedish State, which holds 36 per cent and the city of Saint Petersburg, which holds 15 per cent.

The property complex comprises approximately 4 500 square metres of lettable space. The largest tenant is the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs which rents office space and a residence, as well as diplomat apartments for Sweden’s Consulate-General. Other major tenants include the Stockholm School of Economics, the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
