7.4 When no visa is required

Even in cases where no visa is required, a signed employment contract must be presented by the foreign mission in Sweden to the Protocol Department before the private servant's arrival. The Protocol Department may ask the Swedish foreign mission in the country where the applicant resides to ensure that the contract is written in a language that the applicant understands and that they are aware of the main contents.
