Stockholm+50 Logistical information
This information is addressed to participants to Stockholm+50. Please note that the logistical information will be updated on regular basis.

The registration at Stockholmsmässan is open the following hours:
29-31 May 2022 9.00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
1 June 2022 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
2 June 2022 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
3 June 2022 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Stockholm+50 will be held at Stockholmsmässan. It is right next to Älvsjö station, only 10 minutes from Stockholm Central Station by commuter train. All commuter trains travelling south from Stockholm Central Station stop at Älvsjö station.

Access to the venue/ID-card
International participants need to bring a passport to the meeting. Swedish citizens may use passport or other government issued photo-identification. More information can be found in the Information Note for Participants (see down below at section Documents).
The venue is accessible by wheelchair. A limited number of wheelchairs can be borrowed. It is not possible to book wheelchairs in advance.
The venue has a hearing aid system. The hearing aid loop has its own radio receiver which ensures higher quality sound without disturbing background noise. These will be available at Victoria Hall. There will also be induction neck loops available both in the side event rooms and Plenary Hall.
There is a cloakroom by the Main entrance for those who wish to hand in their coat or bag. The fee is SEK 40 per item.

Kiosk & newspapers
The kiosk Pressbyrån is located in the lobby by the Main entrance.
Stockholmsmässan has nursing rooms on the venue. You are welcome to contact the Information at the Main entrance if you want access.
Payment and ATM
Payment options at Stockholmsmässan are limited to cards only. All major credit cards including Amex, Diners, Mastercard, Visa and Maestro are accepted. You can find one ATM at the venue located at the entry hall.
You can rent a portable power-bank for your device at the price of SEK 5 (approximately USD 0.50) per hour. You are free to use it inside the venue. Visit the information desk to get access to the power-bank. We kindly ask you to download the app Lectogo beforehand since it is needed for charging your device.
Lunch reservations will be available in the a la carte restaurant The Garden. The table reservation will open on May 9th.
There are several restaurants at Stockholmsmässan:
The Garden: Open 12.00-15.00 pm on the 2nd- 3rd of June (pre-reservations only). They serve a set menu from their à la carte menu. With a peaceful atmosphere the restaurant is suitable for meetings. Please make your reservation here.
Flavour Kitchen: Lunch restaurant with grilled meals, Swedish cuisine, vegatarian on the menu.
Flavour Bar: We serve filled baguettes, salad, homebaked pastries.
Bowls & Buns: Asian style with bowls, buns and salad.
Cafè Galleria: We serve filled baguettes, salad, homebaked pastries.
Street Eats: Fast food restaurant with burgers and pizza.
Restrooms are clearly marked and located around the venue. Restroom for persons with disabilities are available near the entrance, in the C-hall, A-gallery and B-gallery.
Room of silence
A room of silence is available for those in need of a peaceful moment during the visit for prayers, devotion or similar. Please be mindful that the area has a max capacity of a few persons. Contact the information desk for access.
Safety of participants and first aid
The First-Aid room is located between Gallery A and B, behind Pressbyrån kiosk. To ensure the safety of the participants, a security company with training in first aid will be present at the venue around the clock. Defibrillators will also be accessible around the facility. Stockholmsmässan is certified by the Heart and Lung Foundation as a Heart Safe Zone.
Stockholmsmässan has a non-smoking policy inside the venue. You can access a designated smoking area through the restaurant Park Side.
Wireless internet will be provided at the venue. At the Business Centre there will be a limited number of computers available with free access to the internet.
Incoming delegations are responsible for their own accommodation. The hotels are situated in the city centre or near suburbs. As a participant you do not have any obligation to use the booking page – it is only a recommendation and assistance for your upcoming stay.

- Please contact the hotel directly for assistance of group reservations.
- All rooms must be guaranteed with a credit card and paid for by the participants. No invoicing can be made abroad.

You can travel to Stockholm in several ways. Arriving participants are asked to consider the environmental footprint of their mode of transportation and ways in which this can be reduced.
For those flying to Stockholm by air, most airlines arrive at and depart from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Other smaller airports nearby are Stockholm Bromma Airport, Skavsta Airport and Västerås Airport.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the largest international airport in the Stockholm region. International traffic departs and arrives at both Terminal 2 and Terminal 5. There are several modes of transport from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm city centre or to the conference venue at Stockholmsmässan.
Arlanda Express high-speed trains
Nonstop direct fast train from Arlanda to Stockholm Central Station in 18 min. At the airport, the trains stop at Arlanda South and Arlanda North. Arlanda to Stockholm by train | Arlanda express
Commuter train (SL)
SL’s commuter trains to Stockholm depart from Arlanda Central Station in SkyCity, in the area between terminal 4 and 5. Total travel time between Stockholm Arlanda and Stockholm Central Station is 38 minutes. All trains continue to Älvsjö station where the Stockholmsmässan venue is located. From there it is short walk to the main entrance of the venue. Read more about SL public transport.
Airport buses to Stockholm Arlanda Airport stop and depart from Terminal 4, from there you may access all terminals within walking distance.
Taxis are available directly outside Terminal 2 and 5. At the taxi stand you will only find taxis that have an agreement with Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Contact the taxi rank officer if you would like to have a specific taxi company or if you have any questions.
The maximum price for trips within the marked zone boundaries (Stockholm city centre) is SEK 675. Participants are recommended to pre-book taxi via the hotel or directly with the taxi company to be met after customs.
Stockholm+50 will be held at Stockholmsmässan, right next to Älvsjö station, only 10 minutes from Stockholm Central Station by commuter train. All commuter trains travelling south from Stockholm Central Station stop at Älvsjö station.
If you decide to take the commuter train from the station, please be advised that the commuter train is located at the very bottom of the subway network. Stockholmsmässan can also be reached by shuttle bus via pick up points /different areas in Stockholm.
For traveling to Stockholmsmässan and other local destinations, Stockholm has an extensive public transportation network. You can buy tickets and travelcards for short and longer period of time. We recommend you to buy tickets well in advance and all types of tickets can be bought at the Metro Stations’ ticket office. Please note that bus drivers and light rail trains do not handle cash. As of 1 April 2022, all entry restrictions concerning Covid-19 have been lifted in Sweden. (Please note that participants may still require a visa for entry).
As official recommendations may be changed, participants to Stockholm+50 are asked to stay informed on current rules and recommendations in place in Sweden, as well as to take necessary precautions with regards to their travel including restrictions in their country of origin and countries through which they may transit on their way to Sweden.
Visa requirements must be met before arrival in Sweden. It is the responsibility of the participants to check whether they need a visa to enter Sweden as well ensuring that the visa application handed in is complete.
Information on who needs to apply for a visa as well as how, can be found on the website of the Swedish Migration Agency. Kindly note that any additional fee for the visa application is to be covered by the participant. Please be advised that the Stockholm+50 confirmation letter that you receive when you register for the meeting should be attached in the application. We kindly ask all participants to take necessary precautions and stay updated on updates in rules and recommendations that may apply for entering and visiting Sweden. Participants from countries outside of Schengen shall apply for a Schengen visa type C.
Please be aware that in many locations Sweden uses an external service provider, VFS Global, for submission of visa applications and collection of biometric information needed for the visa. You can find their website here: Welcome to VFS Global | vfsglobal.
Please note that unpredicted events may impact and extend visa processing time, why submissions should be made well in advance, and at the latest two weeks prior to expected travel date.
