The world’s energy ministers gather in the Öresund region
On 23–24 May, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the European Commission and the Nordic Council of Ministers will host the Clean Energy Ministerial and Mission Innovation in Malmö and Copenhagen.
The theme of the third Mission Innovation (MI-3) and the ninth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM9) is Energy Integration and Transition: towards a competitive and innovative low carbon economy. The focus is on developing and spreading clean energy technology for the needs of the future. The meetings will bring together energy ministers from the world's foremost energy nations, and representatives of business, research and academia, civil society and international organisations. International research and innovation cooperation are key to achieving this goal and will greatly benefit Sweden," says Minister for Policy Coordination and Energy Ibrahim Baylan.
