Margot Wallström to host Nordic-Baltic meeting in Stockholm

On 19 June, Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström will host a Nordic-Baltic meeting with the Visegrad Four (V4): Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The meeting will be held in Stockholm in light of Sweden’s current coordinating role in the Nordic–Baltic Eight (NB8). Hungary currently chairs the Visegrad Group. The participating ministers will discuss the challenges facing Europe regarding the Eastern neighbourhood, security policy, the future of Europe and more.
The Foreign Ministers meeting in the NB8 + V4 format was originally a joint initiative of Poland and Sweden in 2013.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström and Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó will hold a press conference in connection with the meeting.
