Prime Minister to attend International Arctic Forum in St Petersburg
On 9 April, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will take part in the International Arctic Forum in St Petersburg. The theme of this year’s Forum is sustainable growth in the Arctic region.
The Government is pursuing an active policy in this region, particularly on issues linked to climate change, and the Forum provides an important opportunity for political dialogue with Russia and other participating countries on environmental issues and other Arctic issues. Several Nordic countries will have high-level representatives at the Forum, including Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will have a bilateral meeting with President Vladimir Putin in connection with the Forum.
