Stefan Löfven to attend commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau

On Monday 27 January 2020, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will attend a memorial ceremony at Auschwitz-Birkenau to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration and extermination camp.

The memorial will begin at 15.30 at Auschwitz and conclude with a candle lighting ceremony at 17.30 at Birkenau.

In addition to Mr Löfven, Swedish participation will include Crown Princess Victoria, Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén and survivors of the Holocaust.
