The Trade Section is responsible for a wide spectrum of traderelated issues. The focus is on goods, services, investment, public procurement and regulative cooperation, sustainable development and intellectual property. These issues are addressed in the Committee on Trade Policy and other related working groups. The work particularly concerns bilateral trade agreements but also WTO and regulatory matters in customs and trade.
The section follows the European Parliament Trade Committee and is responsible for Trans-Atlantic relations (COTRA) and EFTA.
The section is part of the Representation's Section for Foreign Policy Unit.
