Swedish Unemployment Insurance Board (Inspektionen för arbetslöshetsförsäkringen, IAF)

The Swedish Unemployment Insurance Board supervises the 38 Unemployment Insurance Funds. The authority also checks that the Swedish National Labour Market Administration performs its duties in questions affecting the right to unemployment benefits. Other tasks is to represent the Government in court in cases concerning unemployment insurance and to make decisions in cases where people wish to take their unemployment benefits with them when seeking work in another EU/EEA country.
