State Visit from France

The State Visit from France will take place on 30–31 January 2024. President Emmanuel Macron will come to Sweden together with his wife Brigitte Macron at the invitation of HM The King.
President Macron will be accompanied by a delegation of members of the French Government and Parliament, and representatives of the business sector, government agencies and cultural life.
The two-day Visit will begin in Stockholm and conclude in Skåne.
The State Visit will further strengthen and promote the longstanding, broad and excellent relations between Sweden and France. It will also provide an opportunity to enhance cooperation in the areas of innovation and green transition, trade and investment, as well as defence and security in our neighbourhood.
More detailed information about the programme and participants will be published closer to the date of the Visit.
