Fourth AP fund (Fjärde AP-fonden)

The Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund’s (AP4’s) mission is to contribute to the financial security of current and future pensioners in Sweden by managing part of the national pension system’s buffer capital.

In accordance with the Parliament’s decision, operations of the First AP Fund (AP1) were concluded at the end of 2025. According to the decision, AP1’s assets and liabilities are transferred to AP3 and AP4.
