The Museum of Work Foundation
The Museum of Work documents working life and strives to bring its history to life. The Museum manages and preserves the foundation’s collections and makes them available to the public.
The Museum also promotes research relative to its activities, and documents the history of industrial society. The Museum has a special responsibility to support all of the approximately 1 500 working life museums in Sweden.
The Museum of Work was founded in 1983 and has received an annual government grant for its activities since the beginning of 1985.
