The National Historical Museums

The National Historical Museums are tasked with promoting knowledge of and interest in Swedish history and to preserve and to develop the cultural heritage within the museum’s collections. The Museums aims to make its activities relevant and engaging for everyone in the community.

The National Historical Museums include the Hallwyl Museum, the Historical Museum, the Royal Armoury, the Royal Coin Cabinet – National Museum of Economy, Skokloster Castle, Tumba Paper Mill Museum, and the Swedish Museum of the Holocaust.

The agency is also tasked with conducting archaeological assignments.
