WHO Collaborating Centre for International Drug Monitoring

The WHO Collaborating Centre for International Drug Monitoring is also called the Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC). The organisation is an independent foundation which works internationally for patient safety and the safe and effective use of medicines. The foundation provides various services and is involved in scientific research. The activities are based on an agreement between the World Health Organization and Sweden.
