Nobel Week in Stockholm 2015

Nobel Week 2015 will include press conferences and lectures. On Thursday 10 December, the week will culminate in the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the Nobel Banquet.

About the Nobel Prizes

The Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel are awarded in Stockholm, where the Laureates participate in an extensive programme during Nobel Week.

Assistance to media

The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the Nobel Banquet will be held on Thursday 10 December and the Nobel Lecture in Literature will be held on Sunday 6 December. Last day for application to attend these events is Thursday 5 November.

Please note that for other events during Nobel Week there is no general accreditation valid for the entire week, each organizer must be contacted separately.

Distribution of Banquet/Award Ceremony/Literature lecture tickets for accredited press will take place at the Nobel Desk at Grand Hôtel.

Press Centre at the Nobel Museum

During the Nobel Week, the Nobel Museum in the old Town will host a Press Centre. Wifi and a work station will be available.

Press Center opening hours: 11.00-15.00. The Museum's general opening hours: 11.00-17.00

MFA International Press Centre

International media representatives are also welcome to use the Ministry for Foreign Affairs International Press Centre. The International Press Centre is located in central Stockholm.

Opening hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-18.00.
