Romina Pourmokhtari resumes role as Minister for Climate and the Environment

On Monday 15 June, Romina Pourmokhtari will resume responsibility for climate and environment issues in the Government having taken care of her child since 2 March 2026.
Minister for Employment Johan Britz has been Acting Minister for Climate and the Environment in Ms Pourmokhtari’s absence.
The formal decision regarding Ms Pourmokhtari reassuming responsibility for climate and environmental issues was made by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
