Report on Swedish efforts related to the initiative on citizens’ consultations

As part of the national reporting under the French initiative on citizens’ consultations on the future of the EU, the Swedish Government has reported its efforts for increased participation, knowledge and engagement on EU issues to the European Council. The themes primarily raised during the EU thematic consultation forums and the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies’ discussion tour about the future of Europe, are also included in the report, which you can access below. The Member State reports are expected to be noted by the European Council on 13–14 December 2018.
