“Today, I had the honour of welcoming President Jakov Milatović to Stockholm. We had a good conversation about Montenegro’s ambitious reform efforts on its path to EU membership. Sweden remains committed to supporting Montenegro’s accession process. Merit-based enlargement is good for Europe and good for Sweden,” says Mr Kristersson.

During their meeting, Mr Kristersson and Mr Milatović also discussed developments in the Western Balkans and the importance of continued support to Ukraine.
