Strategy for Sweden’s reform cooperation with Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans and Türkiye 2026–2030
The aim of Sweden’s international development assistance is to create conditions to improve the lives of people living in poverty and oppression. Development cooperation under this Strategy will therefore support countries’ own efforts to reform and establish closer ties with the EU. The implementation of the Strategy will be carried out in close collaboration between development assistance, trade and business promotion and take Swedish interests into account, based on the Government’s Reform agenda for Swedish development assistance.

National Food Strategy 2.0 - summary

Sweden’s regional strategy for the Syria crisis was initially adopted for the period 2016–2020, and was subsequently extended twice for 2021–2023 and 2024–2026. The strategy has now been extended for a third time to apply until 2027, with a total volume of SEK 4 385 billion for the period 2016–2027.
