The report "A Swedish Strategy for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services" aims to halt and reverse the loss of biodiversity in Sweden. It is Sweden’s contribution to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Kunming–Montreal Framework for biodiversity.

The Government’s overarching objective for intellectual property (IP) is to strengthen Sweden’s innovative capacity and competitiveness and to promote and secure a rich cultural offering, both nationally and globally. Strategic management and protection of IP assets using IP law is particularly important at a time when the global race for strategic technology gains is playing out against a backdrop of geopolitical turbulence.

In 2017, the Riksdag adopted the objective of the National Food Strategy: a competitive food supply chain that increases overall food production while achieving the relevant national environmental objectives. The strategy still applies, but the Government has revised it to meet current challenges and opportunities. The new strategy, the National Food Strategy 2.0, has been developed in dialogue with businesses and organisations in the food supply chain.

This outlines the Swedish Government’s new direction for urban development policy. The Government intends to improve conditions for municipalities to develop vibrant, safe and resilient urban environments, and enhance possibilities for regions, government agencies, the business sector and civil society to contribute to this work. Sweden’s regional strategy for the Syria crisis was initially adopted for the period 2016–2020, and was subsequently extended twice for 2021–2023 and 2024–2026. The strategy has now been extended for a third time to apply until 2027, with a total volume of SEK 4 385 billion for the period 2016–2027.
