Strategy: Kosovo 2005-2006 Reference No.: UD 05.037

June 2005-December 2006 This strategy establishes the direction of Sweden's development cooperation with Kosovo for the period 2005-2006. Kosovo is one of the poorest parts of Europe, and its political future is uncertain. The aim of Swedish development cooperation with Kosovo is to contribute to the development of peace and stability by strengthening Kosovo in its efforts to achieve closer integration with the rest of Europe. The two principal sectors for the cooperation are democracy and good governance and sustainable economic development.
