Maria Malmer Stenergard receives Costa Rica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs

On 15 September, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard received Costa Rica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Arnoldo André Tinoco. During their meeting, they discussed support for Ukraine, sustainability issues and trade.
Ms Malmer Stenergard stressed the willingness of Swedish companies operating in Costa Rica to partner in the country’s green and digital transition.
Other topics of discussion included climate and environment, innovation and digitalisation. Current UN and trade issues were also on the agenda.
Costa Rica celebrated its Independence Day on 15 September, which Ms Malmer Stenergard also highlighted during the meeting.
