Statement from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs on summoning of Iranian Ambassador

Today, 14 January, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian Ambassador in Stockholm.
The Ministry summoned the Ambassador to strongly protest against Iran’s use of lethal force against peaceful demonstrators and widespread arbitrary detention.
When the Ambassador was summoned, it was stressed that Iran must respect the right to freedom of expression and assembly and the right to peaceful gatherings.
