The 3 September Minister for Education Anna Ekström had a digital meeting with Elisabeth Citrom, Holocaust survivor. Mrs Citrom’s eyewitness testimony from the Holocaust is currently being documented for the Swedish version of Dimensions in Testimony, a digital installation developed by the Shoah Foundation that enables people to ask questions and get real-time responses from pre-recorded interviews with Holocaust survivors. The Minister talked with Mrs Citrom about her experience with the recordings and also extended the gratefulness of the Swedish Government for her effort. “I am so proud that The Shoah Foundation, Judisk Kultur i Sverige, Sveriges Historiska Museer Mrs Citrom and Mr Rawet, with the support of the Swedish Government, are making a Swedish version of Dimensions in Testimony a reality. It is of great importance for us all, and for the generations to come”, said Anna Ekström.
